polan121: Thanks :)
I think you have to contact support. I doubt if you do this as easily as changing a password to help prevent account hacking.

Try
https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us

They will either help or tell you why they advise against it.

You do. Thats the only way.
Yeah I had to ask the blues, to change mine.
You are free to change your title any time, not your username, perhaps that's confunding you.
Just keep in mind that it may take a while, since we are on weekend.
Patience* buddy.

This often recited rumour has been proven false by direct statement from GOG employees in the forums many times in the past. Submitting multiple support tickets has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the priority of one's requests, they are read and handled in the order they come in regardless of how many there are.

Proof?

almabrds: Proof?
If you need proof, feel free to search the forums for it. I'm not going to make myself more work every time it comes up in the forums. You can take my word for it, or get crackin with google yourself. :)
Looks like it's been done anyway. OP name is shown as JaimeGM, but on the Community Forum main page it was created by Polan121.

If it was done by GoG support then quick work for an Easter weekend.

Well if you want to teach me (and others) how it's done, show the proof. Simple like that. =)
I had reasons to believe spammed tickets receive answers slower than the rest, because lots of people said that's how it is. I've never seen a blue correct them.
You are not a blue, I'm not just gonna believe your word, since you're not an employee, sorry.
See you later?

I already did my part, I dispelled the myth. If others need archaeological proof they can dig it up in the forums themselves, I'm not paid to do it so I'm not going to do it. I'm simply sharing the information that I know with the community as a good Samaritan and I leave it up to others to either trust me based on my reputation (real world reputation not rep score), or to do their own research. I have nothing to gain from making shit up, and equally nothing to gain from going on a crusade to spend even more on my time to prove it to anyone else just to be able to say "See, I was right, you were wrong neener neener neener." type nonsense.

Take my word for it, or do not - either way I am ok with that. But, regardless of this, if I see someone innocently making a claim like this that I know is false, I will present the information that I know about it being false. I wont get engaged in sinking any more time into it than it is worth to me however, and in this case it's not worth anything to me.

If someone is too lazy to search for themselves, then they can contact GOG support directly and ask GOG support and get the answer right from the horse's mouth, and they will in fact state exactly what I claimed above to be the case.

I've done my part.
Nah, you're not a mythbuster. Nice try, though. =P

I'll wait for a blue response, thanks!

See, that was not difficult for another member!
Thanks a lot, Maighstir. ^^
That blue's post clear things up.

Yeah, aren't I nice? I did your work for you rather than burdening the blues with typing up yet another reply for the same thing when they could use those three minutes with something more productive, like having a nice cup of tea.

Funny how he has the time to write a wall of text, but not time to post a simple link to prove what he claimed.
You said it was mentioned multiple times that the information was incorrect, yet you failed to post a single evidence.

You talk about lazyness, as if you wasn't being lazy right now, if there were as many posts that served as proof, how you was incapable of pressing ctrl + c and ctrl + v?
It's not the first time either, I've seen you doing this to other threads, you like being the know-it-all.
Next time, prepare some evidence before posting something as a fact, I know it's shocking, but not everyone is gonna blindly trust everything you say.

Screw you. It's not my job to search for proof of something a complete stranger told me was a fact.
I don't give a damn if you're a high rep user, stop acting like a dick.
