Hear ye, hear ye!

We couldn't be happier to announce that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and its Gold Edition are coming DRM-free to GOG this Spring!

It's time to start preparing for Henry's next adventures in this potentially GOTY-worthy RPG from our friends at Warhorse Studios.

Ready to crown your library with this beautiful creation and keep it forever? Because we sure are!
Great news.

I do find the Gold version vs Expansion Pass + confusing though.
Considering the scale the game is working on + the original's release, being delayed for a few months is probably for the best for the sake of patching anything potentially game breaking/improved optimization.

Waiting a month or two is absolutely acceptable for me, the main thing is that it comes and it's nice if it's announced and communicated in advance.

If you can't or don't want to wait, you can buy it elsewhere. I for one will of course buy it from GOG and am looking forward to it. :-)
Hope they improve the combat, it just felt like the game was reading my keyboard inputs and then would immediately counter it dragging the combat severely regardless of how much I built up combat abilities.
Great to hear news like this. Hope more devs/publishers will follow DRM-free path.

Wow, nice. After the initial Denuvo rumors, I was expecting like a 6-12 month delay at best. In fact, was about to ask in one of the previous KCD 2 threads, if anybody had heard/seen/read any rumors about a potential GOG release.

Take good news whenever you can :D

AlexTerranova: Czech voice-over will be available from the start. 8)
This is especially important. Because as the czech voice over was made for KCD1 only afer the release, its quality (for czech native standards) was not that spectacular.

The fact it's there from the get go now means the voice actors knew full well the conext, situations they were speaking in etc.

Wondering how many non-czechs are going to be playing with the czech VOs for immersion. Like many did with Stalker or Witcher.

Looking forward to the release of KCD II.
Yaay! this will be an instant buy for sure, waiting a month or two with big RPGs is the most sensible thing to do anyway
Thats great news! I really enjoyed part I so really looking forward for the second installment. Pretty sure they game gonna need some urgent patches post release anyway so having a 2 month delay or such aint the worst and glad that the announcement came in time before the general release
Here's hoping they revamp the combat system: it was a bit of a mess in KCD.
oh sweet, I didn't enjoy the first game very much :D

I heard that there was some gamer outrage about this game again though lol :D

Wish this would convince more devs and pubs to release here

Edit: didn't realize it was published by Deep Silver

TT_TT_TT_TT: having a 2 month delay or such
Likely more. GOG doesn't have a concrete date because the publisher didn't give them one. "Spring" is the ballpark season because Koch's trying to consolidate their sales on Steam. If the game bombs and drops out of the Steam charts immediately, it'll be here in a hot second. If the game is really successful however, you'll wait until Summer or possibly in vain.
A very nice surprise!
Will there be some way to get the The Lion’s Crest pre-order bonus quest on GOG?
