Why on earth did GOG change it so the new releases are displayed at the very bottom of the store frontpage? When people visit the site they want to immediately know what is new. Do GOG not like money?
What do you mean at the bottom? I see them on top as I log in.Dont bother.

I think they know that people come and look for the news bar. It's kind of like how walmart always stores the soda and chips and the electronics at the back of the store: they know what you're coming for, and they know what they want to sell you. If you have to go past the things that they want to sell you, you're more likely to buy them in addition to your snacks.

What kills me is that it needs to load them separately from the page itself. Not only do i have to scroll down, but i also have to wait for it to load, and loading doesn't start until i scroll down. Really annoying.
They're in the middle, like a sandwich. As for the news section, I never took note of it, even on the old website.

I think he's specifically looking for the release threads, which are at the bottom.

Which can also be found in the very forum they're posting on, rendering this search pointless.

(Especially if they put posts per page to the biggest number.)

yeah, but if you're coming just for a quick look, because you're like me and searched the entire catalogue of gog games, then you just merely want to know what's new. The news feed actually forces them into chronological order.
