Ya'll generally seem to have a better appreciation for games in general (rather than blind platform fanboyism) so I thought I might as well ask here rather than bother making accounts somewhere else.

Only doing PC (and Nintendo) I'm sure I've missed quite a few console and or ps3 exclusive 'must-haves', but there are too many damn games to simply go through the entire list title by title.

*I've decided I don't really like this person, hence I'm not going to recommend any games.

I liked the Prototype and Infamous series, solid games that I played pretty much to the end. Rocksmith works well on PS3, but it's a tad expensive due to needing a guitar.

Batman Arkham Assylum GOTY, is pretty good. I kind of like the 3D glasses.

If you don't mind a good thriller style story experience check out Heavy Rain. There's both an original version and a Directors Cut, but the gameplay ending changes depending on your actions. It may have a lot of action sequence style of gameplay, but man it's an intense game at parts.

There's also Beyond Two Souls which was made I think by the same people. It is one of the best looking games on PS3 and really pushes it's graphical limits. The story is quite moving though jumpy (goes back and forth through the timeline), and also plays by action sequences (press a button at the right moment).

If your into JRPG's I'd check out any of the Atelier games on PS3;

I'll check some of those out. Is Uncharted as great as people claim? Cause I'm kind of put-off by it's derivative nature. Also, Steins;Gate and Neptunia (not all but they are porting them) are on PC.

Team Ico Collection is mandatory too.

I mentioned Steins; Gate because it's the only platform it's on for console (Sony systems, PS3 and Vita), even if it is on PC.

Also, Neptunia is in the same boat, even if "some" of them are on PC. I don't know if they all are, but the original experience was on console.

As for Uncharted, if your really on the fence, get the combo pack (link below), or used at a local Gamestop. You won't be out much money and you'll get to see if it's something you'd like. I can't share your "derivative" nature sentiment, because I play games that are fun and if I enjoy them, not because of what other people make it out to be and because of whatever a game is based on. That's just my unbiased hardcore gamer point of view though

I've heard people speak quite highly of Ico, but I don't really know anything about it.

Ah, I'm just worried about exclusives and or console exclusives. If it is on PC I prefer it on PC (especially for longevity). I get that. I'm just an old salty Tomb Raider fan whose always trying to jam the classics down people's throats. :-P
