It probably wants to be friends.

Monstrum is now available DRM-free, 80% off until November 12th, 4pm UTC.

Escape three unique apex predators through procedurally generated levels and the threat of permadeath looming overhead. Try different tactics, procure items that could help you, distract it, hide, scream like a little girl, reload.

Get the Soundtrack for your collection, also 80% off until November 12th, 4pm UTC.

d3adb01t: Nice release, but I noticed this on the front page. It doesn't bother me, but I thought it would probably be best to bring it up before someone else makes a big deal about it. Regardless, thank you for the release.

Zoidberg: Uh, what IS the big deal?
avatar
AlienMind: Oh, procedurally and permadeath. Thanks for the warning.
avatar
Zoidberg: Well, without those two the game would present absolutely no interest to play...
avatar
tinyE: But you can fight back?
is it rigidly timed?
avatar
Zoidberg: From the couple games I played on my Steam version (GOG connect plz? :D), it's hide and seek. Think Outlast, but in a shorter time frame and replayability.
That the release news is dated five days before the game was released. I guess that's when they wrote the release post, leaving it hidden 'til the actual release.
A BIG thank you to Cananas! Adding -oculus to the shortcut, DOES work for Oculus users!

I guess.

tinyE: but I feel so helpless when I play it.
That's exactly the point of both games. :)

Point_Man: Is this compatible with VR like the Steam version?
avatar
Cananas: Yes, it is. Add -oculus to the shortcut. Only for Oculkus rift. VIVE and WMD useres should use Revive,
Do you know if Steam users have to do this too? Or is there an Oculus option in the menu in-game?

There is no ingame menu to select VR or not. Steam users have to do the same or select start the game with VR settings.
