Wurzelkraft: I bought the game + DLCs and am a little confused about this specific DLC. Where can I see (and select) these extra maps? The skirmish menu didn't look much different than before if at all. How can I see if the DLC actually works? Don't know much about the game yet so I might be missing something obvious.

Matruchus: I just bought it and there is definitely no option to choose any of those 30 maps. Plus the whole multiplayer side of the game is missing on gog. Just ranked multiplayer is there. It seems to be a broken version of the game.

Checked the game files and there are only 5 maps to be chosen from. It seems the real mars map pack dlc is missing. The same as the whole multiplayer side. Only ranked match is there but no custom, etc.
Hi, you can access the Real Mars Map Pack DLC by selecting skirmish, then clicking custom game rules and toggling the "Use Real Maps" option. It will add the maps from the DLC to your game.

Matruchus: Nope, can't pick any other maps then those five that are there by default even by clickin on real maps under custom still ony five maps there. If I click on choose prebuilt maps there is nothing there besides those five.

Unless all of the so called real mars map pack maps are just random maps

What about missing multiplayer stuff?

Edit: Adding print screen of missing stuff.
That's not the option you're looking for. Clicking custom in "Game Rules" and toggling the setting adds the DLC maps to the game. Presets just determine certain dominate terrain types.

Edit: attaching a screenshot for reference.

Wurzelkraft: I just wanted to check this but I couldn't. Why? The game did not recognize ANY of the DLCs anymore and I might know why...I removed the goggame*.info files so that Galaxy would not touch the game (I normally don't use Galaxy since it auto-scans for games; I hate this so much) and today, just after boot up I started the game and not one DLC was recognized. Wow. :|

edit: I should add that I installed the game manually and not through Galaxy.
Manually removing game files might cause such issues.

Matruchus: Ok, I did following things. Checked the game folders and the map content (DLC_2) is missing after install through galaxy or via direct download. And yes the box next to use real maps is checked.

Then I tested it by copying dlc_2 map pack from Steam to gog version and then more maps showed there. So it seems that map pack doesn't get installed through galaxy or via offline installers. Please check that out. Sent you two support requests already (SDQL04IH and UEEGOE9D).

Adding pictures of gog skirmish and how it looks on Steam.
Thank you for the info, we are looking into it now.

Hey everyone!

The DLC issue should now be sorted & so should be the multiplayer issue. The only feature the GOG version of the game is missing now are the lobbies, but we're looking into this and hope to have it fixed soon as well.

Any issues, just let me know in this thread or PM me.

Thanks!
