I can't really argue your Mario Kart points because you're right, it's their guaranteed money maker, but they never do more than one entry per system and polish that to the nth degree. When I think of creativity in MK8, I'm mostly referring to the track designs which have to be some of the most inspired in the entire franchise, especially with the DLCs. No, the Zero G mechanic may not be a game changer but it certainly factored into the game design, It feels organic, unlike the switching in Double Dash. If anything the best idea DD came up with was the unique super weapons.

I feel kind of the same, so my opinion is basically: the reason I'm against it is that Disney is big enough; the reason I'm for it is that Disney might actually get me to care about Nintendo franchises.
