Sony is planning to bring more of its PlayStation games to PC. First up will be Days Gone this spring, Sony president and chief executive officer Jim Ryan told British GQ. Developer Bend Studio also confirmed the news via Twitter, adding: “Stay tuned for more details.”

In the past, Sony has shown reluctance to port games to PC, though it notably eased its stance last year when it announced Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn would receive a PC port, which launched last August. Asked why the company seems to have changed its tune, Ryan told the publication that there are a few factors at play.

This is a dream becoming reality.
Let's just hope they're not Epic and Steam exclusives, because if it is like this it's more like a nightmare.
You know, I own a few PS4 games in my Sony account, due to free giveaways past, but don't own a PS4.

I wouldn't mind another client installed in my PC if I could download and play PC versions of these games. :)

Too bad Horizon got too expensive here in Brazil due to people using VPNs to buy it abroad during pre-order*, it'll be quite a while until I get it. :(

Anyway, I hope a lot of those exclusives end up in PC as well. And here on gog.com.

*It was 90 BRL initially, but they changed it to 200 BRL when the VPN guys buying it became a problem.
I'm really hoping this means we get MGS 4.

Who cares? Days Gone sucks and never lived up to the false hype as presented in its highly misleading first trailers.

Personally I suspect that GOG getting Horizon Zero Dawn was, unfortunately, essentially just a special event and we're unlikely to see more Sony PC releases here for a long time. But I could of course be wrong.
Also Sony have now released (well okay, for pre-order at the moment) their first game on Xbox, from an actual Sony first party studio...a Sony game...on an Xbox console.
Interesting...

Although I prefer gaming on a TV and working on a computer, the Sony exclusives are the main reason I continue to have a console instead of simply using an old PC or laptop for media streaming to TV.

I just hope they stop sitting on Psygnosis' IPs and release their classics here (Lemmings, please).
Come on Bloodborne!

If GOG managed to convince them to sell Psygnosis old games here they'd make a nice profit. I suspect even "obscure" games like Innocent Until Caught, Hexx , Deadline, Hired Guns, would make a pretty penny.

And I'm not even mentioning the Lemmings, Ecstaticas, Discworlds, Destruction Derbies, etc etc etc...

A lot of their games are of the Ubisoft open world checklist variety, which ain't really my thing. I bought Horizon 'cause I love sci-fi and wanted to support Sony releasing PC games, but not sure I'd buy more of them.

I'd really love to get Bloodborne though, and The Last of Us which I believe is mostly a stealth game and I love stealth. Uncharted is like Tomb Raider right? I'd take some of that as well. Gimmie gimmie gimmie.

As someone who spent the past few days trying it, let me tell you that it's one of those that's far, far better in the trailer than it is to actually play. I had to gut my review of the most specific details, because i had to address the elephant in the room (politics), but it's story/politics is one of it's stronger points (even if I don't necessarily agree with them). The gameplay is awful, almost as bad as Far Cry 5 (actually, ti's pretty much the same, except opponents are harder and there's no forced abductions, but it's like they used the same damn engine).

Given someone mentioned HZD, i'm curious how you feel about that one. It's most definitely a stealth game, but goes from a stealth phase (where you set things up) to a fighting phase (where you then employ the things you set up).

When I got to the end of HZD, I wanted to slap the shit out of the one guy. I mean he was long gone already, but I could feel the palpable frustration of him doing what he did.
