The remake of the original Gothic is one of the most anticipated titles. We absolutely can’t wait to finally get our hands on it, and we know you feel the same.

Today, the first entry in the official making-of video series for Gothic 1 Remake just dropped to help ease the wait.

Let’s all enjoy it and learn more about the creation process of this beauty.

And remember, this game will be available on GOG as soon as it's released.

Melvinica: Good thing this is a Remake then...
Yes. My post was in response to a previous comment mentioning "remasters".

Dryspace: There is no such thing as a "remastered" video game. Video games are not mastered to begin with, and thus can not be re - mastered.

This is an A/V recording term that amounts to nothing more than marketing fluff. Because it means nothing in the context of a video game, it can mean anything, which is of course ideal for anyone wishing to sell "Classic Vidgyuh Game: REMASTERED".
Holy pedantry Batman...
I have never been this excited for a game since, ELEX was released. Thinking about this makes it hard to breath, I'm dying with anticipation here!

Ever since I tried the alpha on Steam, I've been waiting for this with every single fiber of my being!

Edit: Since were so close to Valentines day, Piranha Bytes, will you be my Valentine? I love your games, as you can see (attachment below) I'm sort of a fan! <3

The store page has finally been updated too - in preparation of the rumoured demo, perhaps?

I'm flattered that I could be mistaken for the Dark Knight and, yes --- I am a bit of a pedant, but you don't think that it's a problem when people use words that mean nothing and anything at the same time?
Looks really great. I can't wait for this game <3
The 'Nyras' prologue/demo has been confirmed to be made publically available next week on the 24th of February, at 15:00 CET with localisation in German, Polish, English, Russian, as well as Japanese (text only).

As usual, no mention about GoG, but I'd be surprised if it isn't going to drop around the same time here too, considering the recent updates to the store page and all that.

It's here.

Swedrami: If the rumours of the 'Nyras' demo becoming publically available in a couple weeks should turn out to be true, the playable teaser would be even more obsolete.
So how does the "Nyras Prologue" differ from "Playable Teaser"?

Looks like it's still going to take a moment after all until everybody can find out for themselves.
