It's sad to see people supporting the abusive over reach of Steam yet again.

People should be asking, where is the punishment for companies like that when they abuse and break their rules?
oops

i am still stunned they actually disabled his account fully he should have been able to play what he bought , but you can see their reasoning , if they kept the account active no doubt kaby would spam them one way or the other to ask about his ban directly or indirectly , not once in his reply to their clear warning about not contacting again did he stop.

kaby had ability to play his games offline even when the perma ban was absent but he refused to accept their terms and when you dont agree to the terms there can be no more agreement.

This video alone shows the amount of limits

If being spammed by him was the problem, support could have put him on a blacklist, or as a spam address.

KabyLake: But I've got permanent one for the "circumventing" my own temporarily ban. How it's harmed any one?
Do you have autism? Serious question. It's the only way I can think of that someone would send hundreds of tickets/emails, including any after "don't send us anymore or else", and still think they did nothing wrong. Autists tend to be obsessive and refuse to let things go (whether they're wrong or right, inability to drop something. ever.).
if games are still downloaded depending on devs you may still have some of your games even if your account gets banned some of the games are drm-free on steam as well some you can delete certain file that points to steam to get it to run. so you may not lost all games unless you only keep 20 games downloaded at a time but if you have lets say 2 TB hard drive filled with 100 games then you have a chance of some games being able to still play.

liquidsnakehpks: Take my advise drop the witch hunt on them , let things cool off , maybe after you serve out your initial 6 months ban ask them again.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that not only is that bridge well and truly burned, but the charred remains have fallen into the river, been washed out to sea and swallowed by a gigantic ship swallowing whale.

My guess is that they were making a big threat that they didn't think they'd have to follow through with. After all, who would keep going with that kind of threat? But obviously when the OP continued they had no choice but to do what they said they would.

Read his posts ? his main account support functions were banned yet he continued to spam with multiple support accounts

Looks like the people of neogaf managed to figure out the same

Why? Autist is a much shorter way to say the exact same thing. It's an actual word, not some kind of slur.

Sure, anything can be a word, but 'autist' is an uneducated back formation from autistic and is generally used as a slur by idiots. You won't see autist used by anyone with any degree of education in the field as, probably in part because it's easily misconstrued as a slur.

It was an old alternative account for the an old ticket from 2017, that I've created in 2015. I did not created any new for spamming them.

I have contacted russian Steam Support when my temporarilly ban was revoked by that "self-locking" tool. They are closed my ticket without answer and banned my main account in the Steam Support system for one month.

Few days later I got this:

"Your account has been blocked from participating in the Steam Community.

This suspension will be lifted on January 19, 2038 at 08:14 AM.

If you need to know more, check out support."

KabyLake: Hello GOG Community,

The Steam Support has deleted or renamed my account's login. I'm not sure when it was exactly happened. I had some problems with my PC around one month.

The account can not be search by login or by email. I've got an error that the account IS NOT EXISTS!

This topic is not personal support thread. I just share my negative experience.

If before it was just the deactivation for only 3 days (which also is not good from the Steam Support's side), but for now I get an error that the account's login is not exists in the database.

Here is the big conversation with their manager in the "brainwashes" style - is.gd/Tr4nuw . The last conversation I had with them.

No sensitive data here and it can be disclosed to public.

Keep in mind that they are professional managers, but I'm just a normal user that need a help. :)

So, basically all my 1000 subscriptions (games and programs) are gone. It wasn't indie games, I had triple-A titles like NieR: Automata and so on. And professional software like Sony Vegas Pro.

Here is my profile when it was still alive: is.gd/VAst3h
idgaf ok? :-/

PS: i see you are russian right? you should take it LIKE A MAN! :'(

sigh , its like speaking to a boulder , here is the deal what do you plan to do now ? there is simply no way to get it back.

A) wait out till 2038 , keep creating more support tickets , get more accounts banned .

B) start over fresh , create a new steam account that's not ever linked to any of the mail id , phone numbers you have used .

C) Ditch steam , you are here on gog, install galaxy to get steam like features .

Apart from these there is no point in discussing your ban anymore , its a clear cut case , you were warned not to contact them again but you did multiple times under false questions.

Seriously the rust question was pretty lame , who were you trying to fool in support? , you knew pretty well why you were not able to play the game online , yet created another ticket. haha you made a video showing what was limited on your account and then asked them why you were not able to play rust online ?

Knowing you , i think you have started to spam gabe already with this , good luck getting a response
I don't care how guilty the OP is. Regardless of any wrong he has done, Steam has no right to steal all of his games, which is what they are doing if they refuse either to unban him or else give him back every cent of money that he has ever paid to them. This lesson proves why Steam should be avoided like the plague. That is the value of this thread (although many of us already knew that this can and does happen on Steam long before this thread ever existed).

No, I'm not. You're free to use whatever words don't offend you though.
