Siannah: Nah, never. England had a team on the field. They had a bit misfortune and some Ref decisions against them, but a team trying to fight back. That's more then the French can claim.

The French team behaved like spoiled petulant children and they paid the price. The England team behaved like spoiled petulant children and the same thing happened. Lets not forget John Terry was complaining he was bored at the England camp. Bored? BORED!?! Your on 100k a week and god knows how much from World Cup sponsorships and you are treating it like an all expenses holiday.
None of the England team showed any pride they simply went out there to do the least work possible. After all why should they put in any effort when they are the 'golden generation'. I can't wait to see Rooney telling the fans to fuck off again and how the England fans are a disgrace for booing them.

Delixe: The french team rebellion was totaly unacceptable. If I had been the manager, i would have gone home with the whole team and then kick everbody out of the team for good. How can you accept such a rebellion, i say you cant allow such a thing never ever .
I cant comment on the english team as i dont know whats happend there.

So, it all comes down to Argentina, the Dutch and... and... oh yea, Brazil. If not, I'm broke. ><
Short story:
- John Terry shagged Wayne Bridge's ex-wife. Bridge retires from international football.
- John Terry openly critisized Capello in the press to the horror of his team mates.
- John Terry complained he was bored at the England camp.
- John Terry's first action after leaving the pitch from the Albania game was to get drunk.
- Today John Terry was personally at fault for 2 German goals.
- John Terry is a scumbag.
Disclaimer I would still think he was a scumbag is I wasn't a Fulham fan, which I am. I happen to like Fat Frank and Cashley was the only decent player today.
Now I can stop hearing about the England team every where I go, YAY!
Missed this one too, damn. Looks like it was a decent match.
Just watched a vid of Lampart's GOAL...sigh...
Anyway, congrats to Germany.
Argentina-Mexico is up :)
Edit: Oh man, he was off side by a mile. Pitful.

ROFL. Once upon a time we had something called linesmen in football. This is a travesty.

QFT
What I found interesting was the referee's face. He obviously strongly suspected he had made a mistake, yet he kept on with it, just so he didn't have to admit his linesman waq wrong.
In other words, his ego is more important to him than ruining a match.
And he's Italian, so the usual excuse about only referees from small countries screwing up won't fly...
I do wonder what the people who reject the introduction of video will say in defense of their position after the two huge mistakes today.

The same as they always do. It would take away some of the drama from football (and thereby the public interest, apparently) by removing a gigantic random element.
Thing is, other sports have done it and are more popular than ever, but let's overlook that shall we?
Argentina x Germany, again!!!
I know referee's errors are awful, but in the end, it was funny to see the english complaining about the same error that made they win their world cup back in '66! :)
I feel I need to vent after that travesty of a performance.
The whole world cup campaign has been a disgrace from the England players. I would suggest that the following people never play for England again:
David James (too old, need new blood for the next tournaments, otherwise he played well)
John Terry
Frank Lampard (35+ shots on goal in two world cups and zero goals (well, one I suppose)
Robert Green
Matthew Upson
Shaun Wright-Phillips
Jamie Carragher (shouldn't have come out of retirement)
Jermain Defoe
Ledley King (Too many injury problems)
Emile Heskey
That's ten players out of the 23. Easily replaced by younger talent.
Capello has also got to take some of the blame, he didn't pick the right players and he didn't seem able to control or motivate the players to work as a team. Two particular mistakes were the choice of Heskey and playing Lampard and Gerrard in the same 442 formation that has failed us many times before.
Enough ranting from me - looking forward to seeing Germany vs Argentina, and the other matches that will be worth my time.
Lemme sum up how great it all was, stayed up all night playing Fifa Worldcup in a tournament with friends. It ended with me winning with DPRK. Then, I took a nap and woke up to see the Brave English Lions play against those Germans.
To be frank, it was a great game and if you expected England to do any good with their golden generation. You are an idiot. I suspect they will just sack Capello and continue the status quo.
Still, you guys didn't go out in penalties, at least...
Besides, the British media is currently awesome right now:

2 x 0 'till now.
And my congrats to Germany, that was a really good match by both teams, one of the bests of this cup.
Congrats Brazil. Solid performance today against a worthy opponent. The hexa is very much within reach, keep going ;)
