You could also add the fact that the last time France drew Uruguay 0-0 was in 2002, and they didn't get past the group phase then.
Most importantly, no French team has ever done well without a strong leader (Kopa, Platini, Zidane). None of the players they currently have fits the bill, so I doubt they're going to do well this time.

About France (because I'm french, after all), I think we have great players, like Henry, Anelka, Gourcuff, Ribery and many others. But they have no team spirit. It's like 2002 all over again.
