This is probly really simple, I know I can use the 360 controller with certain games (Borderlands for example)

But...

Can I have the 360 controller plugged in and be able to use a 360 headset while still using mouse and keyboard?

I hope that makes sense.

Yes, you just need to install a driver.

If i ignore the messages I get a partial download.


Tried through Chrome and it didnt have any issues, just need to test it now.

Okay, just did a bit more research and apparently if you just plug it in, Windows will install the necessary drivers for you.

How do you test it, do you need to be in a game?

I tested it with Skype, but you can probably just play an MP3 and see if any audio comes through.

EDIT: After remembering to change my default audio device to the headphones, it works fine with iTunes too.

Yup it works, volume isnt great and i hope i dont have to swap the things in the control panel every time.
