I'm just curious because Hitman 2 and 3 are 9.99 here whereas they are 6.99 on Steam (but I believe most of the 5.99 Squeenix games here are 6.99 on Steam too, so that helps balance things out), so I'm wondering if they're closer to 9.99 on Steam for other parts of the world.

Anybody outside America want to comment on that?

Steamprices is your friend. Change the us in the url to eu, eu2, uk etc for the different regions, or just add them to the comparison.

Thanks! Anyway you look at it the games are cheaper on Steam, but you do get the nice installer here not to mention a 30-day money-back guarantee.

If your game is broken/unplayable.
The German prices are as follows:

6,99€ Codename 47
6,99€ Silent Assassin
5,99€ Contracts
8,99€ Blood Money

So, yeah, Europeans get screwed over. Wouldn't expect any less from that place.
It's quite strange that Hitman Contracts is cheaper than Hitman: Codename 47.

Yes. I can understand GOG not giving rebates for a game "sucking", because there's more or less enough information out there for people to figure out if they'll like a game or not.

However, you can't always know if a game will work or not on your particular machine.

You're still getting it cheaper than on GOG, though. (At least that's what Steamprices conveys)

The Origin 1 day guarantee isn't bad for that, but that's only for EA games sadly, it's not realistic for GOG to pick that up. (both because of no-DRM and most games sold being by third parties). Would be nice if more companies did that though.

Yeah I've heard that Origin has been making good strides over the past ~1-2 years. AFAIK they have a full refund policy too.
If you're European, you can wait for a sale in the Square Enix store, they've been super cheap there and they have Steam keys.

If you're American, wait until Amazon bundles all the game for seven bucks again. :P
