Lionel212008: I am a novice investor and looking for something worthwhile to invest in. Of late, cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, dogecoin, litecoin etc have caught my fancy. I am looking at these as an alternative to the stock market. Personally, I like energy sector stuff. Despite the obvious shortcomings of not doing so, we are not using less energy like we should. Through either the continued use of fossil fuels or the inevitable expansions into green power tech, it's going to grow and grow with some hiccups along the way.
