After a first entry that was rather so-so, the second Call of Juarez game, technically a prequel, is much, much better than I ever thought it would be. Ray and his brother are interesting characters, and this is about as western as you can make a western title. Certain chapters that bridge the story have multiple side-quests in a sandbox-style level, which is a neat idea. The quick draws are also much improved and add a lot of cinematic flair to the proceedings. Aside from the lackluster multiplayer, it's very, very good.
