It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

jefequeso: Ok, could someone explain how there's a huge difference between these two? I've played both, and they seem about the same to me.

klaymen: In 1.6 you can do bunnyhopping, all walls are like paper (for example all rifles can fire through them), grenades can damage through walls.

Also flashbang in CSS does not only blind you, but deafen too.

And the biggest difference: "CSS is teh suxx0rz cuz 1.6 is teh 1337 gaem". I guess that because you can't kill everyone through concrete wall, the game sucks. No pr0 1.6 playz0r could provide me with sufficient answer.
one thing you forget is that 1.6 has remained mostly what it was since a long time, but css despite out for a long time, still has its beta version running and still gets updated every now and then some fix a few things and some break a few things. i have played both games for a long time and will side with people who say ,
- source engine is terrible for fast online plays its as bad as the unreal engine games
-provides that cartoon plastic kinda look , which bores the heck out , i mean compare a intense cs 1.6 round vs css round.
- the recoil and hitbox are terrible in css , totally not meant for competitive games.

i have no idea about cs go , wish i could get a beta key

I have watched a gameplay video, and it seems the exactly same game only with better graphics. Not really excited. Got tired of CS. : /
I am still curious to try it out and judge it for myself, but so far I am not terribly excited for it. Some of the streams I have watched have players talking about how things feel pretty off in terms of movement and precision. You coast to a stop a little bit, and movement isn't very precise when just trying to poke your head around a corner.

It is still beta though so can't be too hard on it, but I would think movement is one thing you would fine tune pretty early before handing out beta keys to everyone considering how competitive this series is. That, and the guys at PC Gamer said it definitely feels more designed for consoles, and they never talk poorly about a Valve product.

We will see though. It would be great to have an updated CS, and I still hope to try it out, but so far it seems hard to get excited about based on comments by those who have actually played.
