wormholewizards: If Lexor can't solve this, then it must be really hard. Honestly, this doesn't look that hard, but the clue is pretty ambiguous. So much probability. I already spent hours try to crack this. But now i give up.. until the next clue surface.
Well, I am not-so-good as you think :D I've only found one method that was probably used to code this (and only if one of popular systems was used). As I said I am still missing "something" but probably will try anyway :P

I'm actually surprised this hasn't been cracked yet :/ I imagine there will be plenty of facepalms/headdesks when the solution is revealed!

Clue #2: The instructions are part of the code - which are unchanged from the original.

Ah yeah, could be - I read what he said as 'The encrypted code somehow includes it's own decoding instrutions' I stared at it until I could kinda see the message 'Exchange for a G' in there but I think I was just losing it...

But does 'Unchanged from the original' mean unchanged from the first, already used code or the original as in the unencrytped message?

I believe one of the words is "rangers," just look at it, its there.
