Crono's guess intrigued me. I've been trying a few more combinations / replacements. I'll be curious to see the answer if I don't get it (which would only be by blind luck at this point). :)

OMG what if, over December, we were trying to decode one of these puzzles when we somehow accidentally unwrapped someone else's Christmas present?
I also feel a bit odd continuinly typing in codes to the gifting system, don't you?

If this works that way how the previous code can be encoded in the same way?

I've tried all the combinations of "X to Y" (X2Y) and "X for Y" (X4Y) I can spot, backwards and forwards, which hasn't worked out at all. (I don't want to redeem the code, but I'm interested in the puzzle solution.)

I've exhausted my limited knowledge for decoding so I'm just looking forward to the explanation!

I am starting to give up too. At this point I'm more interested in the solution itself than winning.

I dont think this is the right method to get solution as both codes are encrypted in the same way and I can't read "exchange" instruction in the older one. :)

I'll not give up without trying the hardest that i could. With 2nd hint already surface, I'll give this another try later today.

I don't know what I'm missing, but I don't get it. I have a feeling the solution is much simpler than I think, and thus I'm not seeing the forest for the trees.
