So I was just going to quickly try out DeathSpank last night after it finished downloading, then go to bed.
It's now a quarter past 7 in the morning.
Get this game. Seriously. I don't care what hoops you have to jump through. If you're broke, rob the cashier at McDonalds. Rough up some fat high school chick for her lunch money. Steal your grandfathers hubcaps. Start a pyramid scheme. Take pictures of japanese girls on the toilet and blackmail them. Lose some weight and sell your bollocks to the highest bidder. Whatever it takes, just buy this game. Now.
That is quite an endorsement.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they're ready to cater to PC gamers yet. I'll have to try to remember to check out the game if they get around to releasing a PC version.

LOL! I bought it but haven't played it yet. I'll go play it right now though :D
You're NOT helping me wait for payday so I can afford it you bastard
PC version, otherwise no talk. I'm still angry at the fact it released for consoles first and there's not even a PC announcement at release.

Yeah, same. The game seems super awesome and I really want to play it, but I'm not quite sure it's worth it to buy a PS3 or 360 just to play a $15 game.

Me too, I wouldn't want to fork out the money to get a console just for a few games. I did that in the past with Sega Saturn just to play a few fighting games and arcade titles. But I ALWAYS, always go back to the PC and the console left collecting dust eventually (unless it's my old Nintendo).
Ron Gilbert's [url=http://grumpygamer.com/9089133]hints make me think a PC version will come out eventually.
I also just noticed something else: Hothead's digital distribution service Greenhouse is currently down for upgrades. Could it mean...?
Guess I'll have to hope for a PC version as naturally, Sony aren't selling it here.
Oh and GreenHouse has been down for weeks. They state upgrades, but the reality is probably them going out of business.

So I just played it and i'm basically in love with it. The art style and humor mixed with diablo like combat makes it a perfect game for me.
I do have a couple questions though for the people who have played it particularly regarding the whole Justice mechanic..
Is there a way to tell which weapons are "Weapons of Justice" and which are not? And is there a way to tell what special attack the weapons of justice do? Or is it all guess work?
The one thing that really bugs me is how when the justice meter fills up, there is no easy way to save the special attack other then having a weapon specifically used for Justice attacks. Was this the way the combat was designed? Or do they expect us to just waste the Justice attacks as soon as we get them?
Been waiting for this game for two years... and I'll keep waiting since I don't own a console. Oh and the PC release will probably be on Steam and everyone here will go 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'
You monster, it's unfair to say those things to a PC gamer waiting for DeathSpank [REDACTED] version since unsuspected times...
I really want this on the PC. I'll probably cave in and get it on the 360 first though.
I will be getting the [REDACTED] version when it's [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] which hopefully won't turn out to be complete [REDACTED] because Gilbert has turned into a [REDACTED] hating [REDACTED].
