Dishonored (sic) is a game that holds alot of interest for people here, so they may find this (9/10) review interesting.

Isn't Destructoid that troll page?

The only thing I need to know is that the game was made by Arkane Studios. Which means I will buy it soon.

Yeah, I haven't read much about it, but according to the buzz it seems like it's an insta-buy for many people.

As I recall, (sic) means that the previous word/phrase is misspelled, so how would Dishonored be spelled in your opinion to warrant that sic?
And yes, I am also considering picking it up, though it will probably be sometime in the next year, when it's down to ~€10
Looks like they really pulled it off, then. That's great to hear; the expectations were running very high.

I was already thinking of preordering ($45 on Greenman for a Steam key), but then I noticed Bethesda still has that fucked up contract with 1C, meaning that if I buy a ROW version from somewhere else than Steam, I'll have trouble with any DLC further down the line. Sigh.
The game does look interesting. I will propably get it at some point.

I was considering that or X-Com for pre-order as the game of the month. Somehow I was pushed into X-Com ...

Next month then.
It's gotten a 9/10 from the Norwegian gamer.no site as well, whose reviews I would trust with my life. Gaming life, that is. Most definitely going to be picking this up. Which is a shame, because I don't need any more games. Which is awesome, because more games = yay ayay!
I would be interested in knowing on what video card you play the game. Min req states that you need a GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850 at least.

It is the AE (BE would be "Dishonoured") spelling. And even thought they will never admit it, the Irish are very British. (A couple of centuries of occupation do that to you... )

Arkane making a Deus Ex style game means instant purchase, even if the review average was 2 out of 10.

This is the game that really makes me miss my gaming PC right now. January can't come soon enough.

It was just a joke referencing a discussion here a couple of weeks ago, regarding US English vs English...erm English :P

I would disagree with some of their reviews and find them quite trollsome, but I know people here would be interested in any information about this game prior to release.

K, no worries then, was wondering since I spent ~5 mins trying to see what the error was.

Interesting read. Read another review today as well that was less enthusiastic but also offered an interesting insight into the game.

I have to say that I was thrilled first until I saw the first lengthy game play videos that suggested -- at least to me -- that the game may not be as special as it initially appears. Nonetheless, I really, really like the artwork and setting. The game seems to have a great atmosphere to it.

So, overall I still find the game very interesting. But since it's a Steamworks title and Bethesda have already announced DLCs, I'll wait and probably pick the game up at a later date, as a complete edition and for a better price.
I gave in to my weakness and PO'd the game. What can I say? I am a sucker for games that let you decide on a course of action.
