I may be the only person who loved the Earthsiege series, but pretty much all of their games were awesome, whether we're talking about Earthsiege or Cyberstorm.

Let's, uh, let's not mention Cyberstorm 2, though. I try to pretend it never happened.

A sequel to Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magick Obscura could be awesome.

And I would seriously punch *kittens* for a good TIE Fighter sequel. Oh my, yes, I would.

Petrell: Unfortunately, if any of the 'remakes/sequels' that have been released or announced lately are any indication, it would end up being 1st/3rd person shooter/hack&slash hybrid. I want mah isometric HC (no compromises for casual gamers or mass appeal!) RPG with turn based combat! (and yes, I do know it's never going to happen)
I know I'm in the minority here, but I've played through both Fallout 1 & 2 a couple of times, and loved the dickens out of Fallout 3. I'm halfway through to Fallout: New Vegas, but sadly had to stop playing the game when I moved out here to Poland this month. My 360 would very likely have been helpfully liberated by the TSA if it was in my luggage.

Point being, I'd probably be okay with it. I'm thinking of something like Bioshock 3 meets Arcanum. I would squee.

Note: this does not mean that I am okay with the new XCOM game. If I had my druthers, I would burn it with *fire*.

Virama: Rogue. I quite like the Desktop Dungeons remake but I can't get past the first floor AT ALL. What I really want is more of an Apple Rogue remake with more levels, better graphics and yeah... That would rule. Keep it simple, stupid, mind.
May I recommend to you Torchlight? I enjoyed the dickens out of that game. It doesn't have permadeath like Roguelikes traditionally do, but you can always delete your character after you die if you wanna be hardcore. Me, I'm a wimp and did no such thing.

Variously, if you wanna go old skool, you could get Castle of the Winds, which is now freeware.

[[Edit: and how could I forget Rogue Survivor, for the zombie apocalypse lover in all of us?]]
