I want to play games with a 360 controller, what games are better played with this? Is the list of games that CAN'T be played a bit shorter?

Thanks!
The only thing I can use it for is for racing games and console emulators, I prefer other controlmethods for everything else.
Are you meaning GOGs or gaming in general?
Gaming in general, I didn't know that you just meant GOG games.
You should be able to use it with platformers like Another World and shmups like Raptor and Tyrian and btmups like Guilty Gear.
Some of the console ports like Soul Reaver might also be good with it, but I haven't tried it.

Forget IL-2 1946, you really need a proper joystick for that one.
Thanks, I'm asking for gog game specific. I already have a 360 controller and want to sit back and play games on my laptop while its on the coffee table.
Psychonauts works better with a controller than keyboard and mouse. I'm not sure how easy it is to set up for the xbox 360 controller. I think the steam one is easy to set up cause they got a newer patch. But I'm not sure about the GOG version.

Dungeon Defenders works split-screen with one player behind a KB+M and one with controller. I use that scheme when playing with my bros (3 players, 2 computers).
I recommend downloading XPadder 5.3 for use in certain titles (such as Earthworm Jim and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver) since the pad support can be kind of iffy, especially with the X360 controller. That being said, check out console ports such as those two parenthetical mentions, and native support in games such as Far Cry 2, Assassin's Creed, Alan Wake, Trine, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project and MDK 2.
Very few have native support, but a lot of them would work better with it.
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath work with 360 natively.

Psychonauts, you can check this thread:

Basically, somebody generous and genius here took his time to extract the latest patch from Steam version and make it into executable installer. It's 100% same as Steam version, with higher resolution texture, 360 and vibration support, but of course minus the Steam achivements.

And Duke Nukem MP work flawlessly with 360 too.
