He did put a tongue-in-cheek smiley at the end of that post though, which at least I interpret to mean it wasn't completely serious.

(then again, perhaps I critically failed my comprehension check and you weren't completely serious either)

Venom: After you purchase new games the sorting switches to "by purchase date" just to be sure you will be able to quickly find the games that were just added to your collection. After that you can easily switch back to your preferred order by choosing the "manual" sorting mode. In "manual" sorting mode new games are added to the bottom.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Sometimes the easiest answer is the best.
