Tremble ye mortals. I am here to claim the title. Oldest geek on GOG...
I'm 58 and have been gaming since the Altair days (star trek), my first computer was the Commodore PET...I got into computers because I loved the gaming aspect and have been at it ever since. ;)
I love GOG and have turned many people on to it. Great group of people here and wonderful games. Currently playing Gothic on my netbook (it runs fine).
Anyway, cheers! It will be fun to see if anyone shows up to take my title away. :D

Narny: I'm 44. My first computer was an 8K Commodore PET with the little keys and a tape deck to save & load programs. First games were Space Invaders, Cosmic Jailbreak, 3D Star Trek plus many others. I started to write a few simple games for my own amusement, which is how I became a programmer - but not a games programmer.
Me, too, Narny! I still have my PET out in the garage (not working, though, sadly). Same deal with programming, too! I still remember the thrill of writing an animated flying helicopter game on the PET using their "character graphics" -- what a trip and look where we are now!
We have far exceeded anything I ever thought we'd see in my lifetime in terms of gaming and graphics - life is good!
Cheers,
Bron
