Hi, I am really impressed by this site. From a designer and programmers point of view it's a sweet piece of work. I guess there are also some businessmen facepalming themselves for not having done this properly before.
I am here to ask a question. To send out a cry!
I would like to play Incubation, and especially the expansion "The Wilderness Missions" which I never got to play.
Did anyone else here enjoy this game?
Incubation... The Battle Isle one?
I have it somewhere... I think D:
Loved this game, absolutely played it to death when it came out. Be a great addition here for sure, I'd gladly buy it again to give it another going over. I'd say it's easily one of the best turn-based squad tactics games I've played, it managed to keep me happy on that front 'til Silent Storm came along a loong time after.

don't know about Vista, but with XP works little trick:
Must explore CD from My computer and then makes a shortcut to setup file. Ofc it is impossible to make shortcut on CD, so system automatically make it on dekstop. Then right click on shortcut and set Windows 95/98 compatybility mode. Setup will think you has Win 95/98 and allow game to be instaled.
I will definetly buy this game on GOG if it will be realesed with expansion, even I still own my original copy of this game.
I would be more than happy to see this game here. It would be great to play it again :)

i love you. period.
(now if GOG feels like adding it, i'd buy it :p and if they manage to improve the gfx -per changing the glide mode to a d3d or opengl mode, i'd buy it twice ! :p)
Glide wrappers exist for that very purpose, and work very well. See here.
Anyway, Incubation would be a great addition - I'd say it's about as close as you can get to X-COM without actually ripping it off. The atmosphere and presentation are excellent.
That was a sweet game. Had the original but not the expansion. I found the music for the game was very atmospheric. would love to play that again. In fact most of blue bytes games i would love to see here. Settlers & battle isles where great series.
This game is on the top of my list of games I will have to make a spiritual remake of. I was thinking about doing something in XNA if I ever get my creative juices flowing. Would be awesome to play multiplayer on the XBox 360.
I remember playing incubation multiplayer with my friends. We would have to step out of the room while the others were doing their turns. The suspense of whether or not your whole squad had been squished with rocket launchers or not was immense. Just rounding corners could be an intensive experience.
Also, this game is hard to find online. The expansion? Never seen it actually.
This game should be added for sure. One of the few games where I enjoyed that wasnt fast paced, had to really use strategy. I have this game even though I shouldn't :), but I couldn't find where to buy it anywhere. would gladly pay for it especially if the expansion was included, working multiplayer would be a plus!
I found this and the expansion second-hand (the expansion cost more then the game, for some reason). Installed just fine, only problem is it's got no sound.
So, yes, I'd buy it off GOG so I don't have to pretend I'm deaf in order to enjoy the game.
Love this game! Limited ammo, weapon overheating, tricky enemies (some of them can be damaged only from behind) - that force you to thing about your next move. It's like chess in space and with guns :D
I have found gameplay video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXamfVUrusM

That game was a Huge Favourite of mine when I was a teenager. Played the original game to death, plus hosted a couple of multiplayer matches.
Also Bambusek: Thank you. I'd tried to make it run on my windows 2000 machine and wasn't able to. I definitely will try to install in XP.
NOTE: That doesn't means I wouldn't purchase it anyway. Being able to make it run without having to deal with "workarounds" and "backdoors" would be worth the price.
