Metro09: Don't know where people are getting the RPG part, that's nowhere in the hints. Also highly doubt it's Terraria. They have a content patch coming on December 1st so they can simply have a promo sale on Steam rather than get a $1 or less from these sales.
The hint given was that Really Big referenced one of the games titles, and also referenced the "scope/genre" of the other parts of the pack.

RPG and strategy are the two biggest genres in scope that I can think of. It's far more likely than, say, a two hour top down shooter.
I wouldn't put so much hope and wishful thinking into this, it's a surefire way to be disappointed in an otherwise perfectly good bundle. Just imagine that it'll be Really Big Sky and three crappy shovelware games for four bucks. It can only get better from there. :D
I preordered, as I am unlikely to have any games from it. And if I only don't have one game, it's probably still a good deal.
I'll wait and see if there is something I'm actually interested in before purchasing. And to see if I don't already own what I'm interested in.

Tbh overall I like the humble bundles more. Only thing I really appreciate on the indieroyale is that the games have individual codes so you can gift those that you own already.

What's weird is that I always pay more than the minimum for HiBs and yet indieroyale's 2.99$ start price and 3.99$ preorder price bother me. Even if they are lower than I would normally pay. I don't know why.

I find IndieRoyal bundle a bit more interesting, but on the other hand, I really don't like Steam only games being included. I hope we'll see Steam-free Sanctum sooner or later.

PenutBrittle: Hey pals,

Looks like the Indie Royale is being shaken up. For one, it's no longer on a fixed schedule, but a more general timeframe. For another, they now accept preorders. You can buy the bundle for a minimum of $3.99 USD starting now, but you don't get to see what you bought until launch day. The minimum stays at exactly $3.99. On launch day, it starts at the price of $2.99 and goes up.

So I thought I'd make a general discussion topic. What do you guys think of the new system? Plan to preorder? (I already did) And what games do you think will make it in this time?

The bundle's launching next week according to the most recent update. I will, of course, edit this to reflect what games get added.

The pre order is a great idea. I picked up the last 2, they are quality packages and I have no doubt whatever they throw in the 3rd will be sweet (even if I more than likely have 1-2 of the titles.)

Good find.

I was going to say the exactly same thing.

I suppose but the more likely thing I've seen guessed at is something like that Universe sandbox game.
Wasn't Bastion pretty big for an indie RPG? That might be it...

I doubt it would be Bastion. It's technically not an indie game, as it was published/marketed by Warner Bros. Not that it's a bad game because of that, but it definitely seems like that would keep it out of the bundles.
ok i'm risk and preorder.

DukeNukemForever: Baslisk Games will start tomorrow a sale, so it's very likely Eschalon 1 is in the bundle and he hopes you buy Eschalon 2 from his website. While Avadon is very new, Jeff Vogel expirments with Avadon the different sale systems, so with all this crazy sales on amazon, gamersgate and steam so far it's very likely for me.
i really hope so. Eschalon looks very interesting and i have it on my wishlist at GG. i hope its not Avadon because i just bought it on Amazon for $2.50.
At least they were smart and aren't going to launch the game during Thanksgiving when most of the US will be in turkey induced comas, or trying to kill each other at walmart to get 20% off on a tv that will be 50% off in 2 days.

"all games in the next bundle are unique. They have not been in a humble bundle or indie royale before"

I may preorder this bundle.
i'm looking for the IndieRoyale1 bundle. if you have a spare copy, i would like to trade for a $3 gift here at GOG, GG or Steam. Thanks.
