I'm pretty sure Portal 2 and most (all?) other Valve games are Steam exclusive. Interestingly, with Portal 2 parts of Steam are also used for PS3.

I think slowly listing Steam exclusives on a forum is a pretty big waste of time. As for a link to a list of some sort, I know of none.

gyokzoli: You can still sell or trade the product keys since they need Steam activation and there is no need for the box. You can even try to trade them here on the GOG forum.
Just to clarify, there is no value in the actual disk? All steam users would need is the key for registration? Sorry for the derail.

You need only the key for registration then the game can be downloaded via Steam. Ofcourse you can also use the disc for the install but not necessary. And keep in mind that the keys are going to be useless once they are registered.

However the installer is indeed a steam installer. Wish I had learned this closer to purchase, I would have returned it :( (glad I kept the originals) ;)
Where are you looking for it? The Steam requirement is usually one sentence in the middle of a large block of very small print, down in the bottom corner of the DVD case.

When there was a summer sale.. dragensang (or something).. Didn't showed for me but if I searched the game afterwards in steam.. At least at that time it showed up.
I realize that game isn't even very bad.

Also i don't get australian cencorship or in germany.

And lastly again.. What was the question? =)

Everywhere. Where games lists the phrase "online activation necessary" this game say instead "you must accept the enclosed license agreement" (but to answer, I have read every word on the box. It lists "Steamworks" as a logo only along with Nvidia, ATi, intel, etc. But that doesn't tell consumers anything. I'm getting impatient with how games are labeled. system REQUIREMENTS is pretty self explanatory. If it doesn't list an internet connection there... a game should NEVER connect to the internet.

Thanks for the info on the key. Per the lousy box instructions I just assumed the key was a CD key. I may try and give them to some goggers in another thread since I bought the game too long ago to make a stink about now ;)
