Start with Ultima Underworld 1+2 then move on to Arx Fatalis

I tried Daggerfall and the slide to edge of screen thing just doesn't work for me. Id jump on Gothic 2 if it shows up during the holiday sale.

Do you mean slide to edge of screen to turn and stuff? You can turn on mouse look, and then just control it like an FPS.

zephyrduo: Thanks for the Suggestions. Was looking at Morrowind but unless it gets a price cut or I find a physical copy of it thats cheaper it won't happen.

Probably gonna try Lands of Lore or Ultima Underworld and maybe Space Siege. By try I mean do some research.
Of course... how could I forget Ultima Underworld! A great game, if you're willing to get used to the really outdated interface and controls. Also, Arx Fatalis. It's got a little of the same charm as Morrowind, but with an even better atmosphere and some amazing sound work.
