:: sigh ::

I'm not going to shut this down because you guys haven't quite gotten into "porn" territory. But let me say that you shouldn't have one of these again. Mkay?

keeveek: The next giveaway after cars giveaway will feature ugly women.
That's not going to earn you any favors either. And, as I said: you don't have to close this one. Just don't have another.

keeveek: May I have any kind of explanation? This is like my 10th giveaway featuring sexy women (most of them were minor ones in Ninja Giveaway thread, and like 3 giveaways exactly the same like this one), and this is the first time any blue text says "it's ok to post dead animals [there was a giveaway like that], but it's not ok to post beautiful women.

Also, you seem to have nothing against posting sexy men in other giveaway.... So my bullshit detector is kinda in a read zone... >.<
Two reasons:

1) I have been unaware of any "sexy image giveaways" before this point. Because they've passed me by on the forums. I discourage such things because we've had similar threads on the forums escalate to thread takedowns and permabans before due to posting of flat out pornography. No one wants permabans.

2) Pics like this are--as I said--running close to the border for what defines porn. It's over the line for "objectionable content" for many, although that's not really my motivator here. I'm not swinging the banhammer at you. I'm saying that this treads on dangerous ground and you're probably better off not doing one of these again.

There are, for example, a whole host of legal mechanisms that come into place when certain types of illegal pornography show up on a message board. They are--and I speak from experience here, working on websites that were substantially raunchier than this--an incredible pain in the butt to deal with. So rather than monitor threads and tell people that "this image has crossed the line" or something like that, I'd prefer that we don't have such threads at all.

As for the other thread, I'll chime in there as well. When I left it, it had a single entry of Guy Ritchie in a three piece suit, so this seemed rather more pressing.
