Seems like people here are very knowledgeable about shopping. I'm done with t-shirt shopping; now it's time for pants, shorts and berms :D
Anyone here can recommend any particularly trustworthy sites for good quality pants and berms? I'm thinking of Urban Outfitters, but the sweatshop part is quite a turn off.
-edit- Another strict consideration is price. I'm working on a small budget. I'd say I can only afford around USD30 per pair...

I wouldn't worry about sweat shops. You could own so many things from them and you wouldn't even know it.
What the hell is a berm?
I was wondering that myself. Considering the question was about pants of varying lengths, I can only assume they're either those pyjamas with feet or some sort of underpants
I thought berm was short for Bermuda shorts.
Would those be different enough to regular shorts to warrant an individual mention?
I hope ceemdee is right. The dictionary definition raises some serious questions about shipping.
Welcome to Ralackk's Berm emporium, we provide berms of any size, made from any soil you like, just pick and choose! For the super wealthy we even have moondust!

Not to worry, if you have the money, the Magratheans will build you a planet with as many berms as you wish!
...
Seriously, I think ceemdee is right in supposing it's a shorter form of "Bermuda". And yes, they ARE different enough from normal shorts.

Are they the really long shorts?

Depends on what you call "really long"; usually, they reach down to or below your knees, but they have a distinct trapezoid-like design.

Ah, fair enough.
Most of my shorts are really long (below the knees), but not trapezoid-like.
Sorry if I'm not clear. It seems the definition of "bermudas" varies from people to people.
I'm looking for pants that are about 1-2 inches above knee length, or just nice at the knee. Cargo shorts included too. I'm looking for something that's of reasonable quality, and reasonable price. It doesn't have to scream out "YOUTH", but it shouldn't make one look too drab either. Most importantly is the cutting - I prefer something that's tapered down at the legs, but not entirely skin-hugging tight fitting.
