Well, our big sale starts in 18 hours, where virtually the entire catalog will be 50% off and we'll be giving away Empire Earth: Gold Edition for free for 48 hours.

Before we get to that, though, we're going to give away one last round of bonus codes for our holiday celebration. We have 50 codes that are good for any $5.99 game in our catalog, and 50 codes that will work for any $9.99 game in our catalog. Leave a comment in this forum thread with your favorite character from a GOG.com game and tell us whether you'd like a $5.99 code or a $9.99 one.

Tomorrow (12 December) at 11.00 GMT, we'll close the contest--and start our big sale--so you can get your holiday shopping on.

My favorite character has got to be Hecubah from Nox. She had such a great voice actor.

I would love a 9.99 code so I could get Planescape Torment.

The commander in total annihilation. Introduced what felt like the operation of a huge 'Deceptacon' like character on a RTS battlefield.

I'm going to go with Pravin Lal from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. From the social philosophies we get in the little quotes he gives, it really makes him one of the leaders whose factions I'd want to work for (there are a couple others, but I like Lal the best).

I'd like a $9.99 code so I can get some of the Heroes of Might & Magic games, so I can get those reviewed for Hardcore Gaming 101 - I've already reviewed Might & Magic 1-9.

My favorites are from my party on icewind dale: thief, cleric, fighter, dwarf, ranger and mage! Yes, these are their actual names.

For some strange reason, I love Admiral Aken Bosch from Freespace 2. The guy's awful, but his narration is heavenly!

Either code would be amazing, though a $9.99 would be the best!
