The Retro-Style Indie Adventure.

Resonance, a point-and-click that mixes classic adventure with twists and unique ideas, is available for digital pre-order exclusively on GOG.com for only $8.99--that’s 10% off the full price, only during preorders!

Resonance is an atmospheric sci-fi adventure in which four characters try to find a dead particle physicist’s hidden vault and prevent the new terrifying technology he’s discovered from getting into the hands of a dangerous organization. We’re not going to spoil the story for you, but the lives of four regular people you will control become entangled in a gripping thriller adventure. The classic point-and-click interface is accompanied by a unique long-term and short-term memory system, which allows to “collect” memories and use them to solve puzzles or start conversations and--in effect--rearrange the storyline.

Resonance features wonderful retro 2D pixel-art graphics, a riveting storyline, original soundtrack, professional voice actors, intuitive interface, and four playable and memorable characters. The game is available for pre-order on GOG.com starting today and will be released on the 19th of June. Until then, Resonance is available with a 10% discount and immediate access to all the goodies GOG.com has gathered for our users, including desktop wallpapers, avatars, a digital poster (suitable for printing), the game’s MP3 soundtrack, and video developer diaries.

If you’re not sure if you want to get Resonance exclusively on GOG.com for only $8.99 watch the video and try to hold back from adding this indie gem to your cart.
Note to those who may have found my wording less than clear: I'll update the body of the news post tomorrow when I'm back in the office and can actually do that--I seem to have locked out my home IP--but as the developers have stated: the only exclusive part is the digital pre-order.

Wadjet Eye is good people, we've had a great time working with them so far, and I'm sure we're all looking forward to their newest release in a smidge under a month. ;)

JudasIscariot: Not sure if correct usage of "is". I would think "are" belongs in that sentence....

No, I can't help myself when it comes to correcting people. Just ask poor Tburger :D.
In proper grammar, you would be correct. But I'm actually using a colloquialism. "X is good people."

This, incidentally, drives most of the other folks at the office nuts. Because they know my grammar is, generally, impeccable. I can lead them to great doubt when I'm quoting someone or using informal language. :P

grviper: Sadly, you get the Stiff Upper Lip at 19.

JudasIscariot: Depends on what race you pick at the beginning. I think if you roll a British English Speaker, you get the Stiff Upper Lip perk. Americans just get the Mouth of the South (the ability to broadcast one's voice over long distances...). Well, I know I have the Mouth of the South perk because people are always telling me "Damn, man, you are LOUD!"
One of us. One of us. One of us.
We loud people should get together sometimes and create world greates loud noise :D

JudasIscariot: We could do something like the Walls of Jericho:

Get us all together, fuel us with coffee, and voila! wall torn down :D
Don't even joke like this ;>

JudasIscariot: I've already got this written in my "To Do.." list :P

*twirls evil villain mustache*
I was planing to buy a gag for Skreczi. I guess I have to buy one more... ;P

We can also try our new Spikes of Silence. They were already tested successfully on Skreczi :-)

This perk stacks with "Deaf as a Post" and "Born for the Stage" to give me truly epic levels of loud.

Actually, I don't think anyone at the office has heard me actually shout. I'm loud enough without.
