Incidentally, as bansama noted when he quoted me: we've never had to delist a title from re-downloading before. JoWooD may (or may not) be a special case, since they're having financial difficulties. We will do our utmost to warn you well in advance if anything terrible happens, but it doesn't hurt to tell people in advance that they could back 'em up now.
If you've got a buddy who can't download a game he or she bought, send in a ticket to support and they'll see about setting things right.
