gameon: I've still not played stalker 1 (or the expansions). But an mmo instead of single player is a bit underwhelming. Just like the knights of the old republic series turning like that.

SimonG: Well, they can do open area sandbox games and have shown a lot of love for modders. Maybe it's for the better.
I expect that a Bethesda-developed STALKER game will basically be Fallout 3: Chernobyl Edition.

Fuck, not another MMO, were full of these. And most of them are total crap. I would be interested if it was something like Guild Wars that can be played completely solo even though its an MMO (kind of).

I like multiplayer games but im just not into MMOs. I still havent found one that i could play for more than a few hours. Most of them suck, especially F2P ones. I dont like grinding. And i dont like the fact that i need to pour thousands of hours into these games till i finally get a strong enough character to get into interesting PvP action, raids and whatever. And i hate the lack of story and progression in the world. Everything looks stale, no matter how many quests you do, the world wont change.

I think the only MMO ive ever enjoyed was Planetside, mainly due to the HUGE battles involving hundreds of players, which was an unique feature for an FPS at that time.

F2P MMO?

This needs to be SP, with MP as an extra.

It needs to support 1,000+ players on a single realm, otherwise, it would feel empty, just like every other FPS MMO out there.

One of the great things about WoW is just how easy is for one to transit from one side of the continent to the other, and possibly see hundreds / thousands of players at peak hours.

edit: Nvm... it is a mod for Crysis 1 :D But it looks cool
