It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Can someone tell me how to get back to the sale page after viewing a game without going through the main page each time and having to select the sale page again? It is really annoying.
Um, the back button on your browser?
The back button takes me back to the main page. That is the problem.
erm, open the game you whish to look at in a new tab , if your browser has this feature. That doesn't solve your issue , but it's a workaround. This way you always have the sela page in the 1st tab ,and can select another game to look at in the same manner.

So you're on the Nordic Games Sale page, you click a game to view it's card and then you hit the back button...and it doesn't take you back to the Nordic Games Sale page? What browser are you using, IE?

Gee I dunno...
yea I just highlight over the game name or its picture I am looking at and open it in another tab..window if you don't have tab option..
other than that just click the big GOG.com at the top of the page then go to the sale banner

I think he's talking about the "On Sale" tab on the front page.
I am using Safari. I can probably do the separate window idea.

Yes. This is the issue. After selecting a game from the On Sale page to view when I hit the back button I am taken back to the front page and have to reopen the On Sale page every time. It is not the end of the world, but is quiet annoying.

Yeah, I see that now - of course it would be nice if it bumped you back to the next item. But considering the other "wish this did this" on this site, that is a small quibble in the grand scheme of things. Frankly there are many worse sites...~shivers when she considers Desura's mish-mash mess!~

Thanks. The, "Open link in a new window ," works great and i don't have to reload the page. I did not know I could use it that way. :)

It's the same for all of us.

The Nordic Sale page is actually here:
http://www.gog.com/promo/nordic_games_weekend_promo_140613

If you visit a game on the above list, and then click back, you will return to that same sale list.

What I'm guessing you are doing is instead clicking the "on sale" tab on the main page. This doesn't take you to a new page, really, it just inserts some new information into the existing main page. When you visit a game card and click the back button, you return to the main page, but GOG doesn't remember the state that page was in. You'll find this is true for most gog pages featuring lists of games. GOG will never remember your last sort criteria, they just serve the page in its default state.
Try middle clicking on the link next time, this opens up the link in a separate browser tab keeping the original page still open and works on all websites. This works in Firefox however I'm not sure about the other browsers. Hope this helps.
