Navagon: Looks like City Interactive have been royally trolled by Destructoid on
Sniper's Steam page.
The great thing about Sniper: Ghost Warrior is that the “vision cone” of the game is insanely huge, so even though you might be hundreds of feet away from an enemy, they are more than capable of seeing you through a crack in a fence, or from across a canyon. It's a weird little element of the game that I found to be very impressive, something that was oddly realistic.
When will people realise that Destructoid is the Wayne's World of the internet age?
Gundato: I am not up on the whole "Destructoid bad" crap (mainly because I generally read multiple reviews and base crap off of the rationale behind what they say, and not just the scores), but I don't really see what is wrong with that one.
In a lot of games, the AI is horribly gimped. They can only see five feet in front of them and can't see through shrubs or cracks in a fence. Admittedly, that is done because real stealth sucks (nobody wants to crawl for five miles...), but this is the kind of game that is trying to simulate that.
A friend of mine who bought the game also says they are incredibly accurate even with automatic weapons despite being a long way away.
