Epic Win The much maligned Sonic R had a truly awesome soundtrack.

Depsite the fact Sonic R is universally hated and with fair reason I guess the music tracks keep being brought back. The even featured in Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing which I thought was a little gem of a game.

I'm happy to say that yes, Sonic Generations is good.

At the moment I am Downloading Sonic Generations from Steam, 1h ago I won an Auction for the "Sonic Adventure 2 10th Birthday Pack" for the Dreamcast on eBay (I searched a long time for this Pack, it was only sold for 2 days in japan, so you can guess how many of these found their way to germany) and I re-played the original Sonic the Hedgehog Trilogy (including Sonic & Knuckles) vie XBLA, so, you could call this a Sonic-Year for me.

And I´m really looking forward to play the new Generations game, because in Unleashed the day Levels where great fun to play, and I hope that the so called 3D-Levels in the new one are like that.

So I pre-ordered Sonic Generations on a whim. Pleasantly surprised, it's actually pretty fun.

It's...Amazing, phenomenal, fantastic, fun, jaw-dropping

Whatever term you want to use - The game is fantastic and makes my Top 5 games that I have played this year

I Reccomend this to everyone, doesn't matter what on - PS3, 360, PC - PLAY THIS GAME

Since I played some Stages now, I have to say that the 2D Levels are awesome, 2D Gameplay is fun too, plus they have the original Soundeffects from the Genesis / Mega Drive games in these Levels, but the 3D Levels the downpoint of the game. Some of them play brilliant, like Green Hill Zone or City Escape, but sometimes I have trouble to place jumps correctly, like for the last hit in the Perfect Chaos fight, I jump into these 3 red rings and the game always targets the wrong bumpers and I always fall down. Somehow I managed to do it right, or I was just stupid for that. Other than that It´s great, it´s fun, you have a lot to do in the game with these Stage Challenge thingys. Recomendation for all Sonic Fans.

Just got my platinum

It was a blast getting there, now all that's left is to get "S" ranks on every stage, which I will do eventually. Generations is awesome
