Soccorro: Is it possible to change the controls? I heard it isn't in the retail version.
Go into Options and you can easily rebind the keys to classic WASD controls :D

Soccorro: Phew, thanks for the quick reply... Is that game actually really that good? I only heard stories about it. They were all mythical and waaay too awesome sounding that i doubted the existence of such a game until i saw it here...
It's one of the best games ever as it really defines its genre, that being cyberpunk :D

Oh and in case you are wondering why the initial controls are kind of wonky, please keep in mind that this uses the same engine as the first 2 Thief games. If I recall correctly(this info is off the top of my head), there was supposed to be a stealth element like the one in Thief but I think it got cut out due to time constraints.

Soccorro: So they had time to implement the a coop mode because the publisher desired it and they had no time for the stealth thing? Wow... And i heard the coop mode kills the "You are on your own, you better be afraid" atmosphere...
While I am definitely NOT an expert on game design, my theory is that games don't get made from A to Z but more like in parallel where many things are done all at once and then put together into a cohesive whole. The co-op mode could've been requested at, say, the middle of the project while the stealth was being worked out.

Again, this is just me positing theories which I urge you to double-check on your own when you have the time :D
