I'll enter for the Tesla Effect
when I got my SNES,the game that my parents bought with was Final Fantasy IV,because I didn't understand anything that was on the screen,I started making up the story(which translated on my DMing skills).of course the story that I made up was nothing like the epicness of the real story, but this little experience with storytelling was the catalyst that made the gamer that I am today

+1 and thanks

In for K_1269, thank you.

Just recently finished One Finger Death Punch - simple, yet very addictive game. Basically using just 2 mouse buttons to fight enemies. Sounds easy, but it's more complicated later, especially with "insane" speed on Grandmaster difficulty. :D Anyway, had a great blast while playing and reached 3970 kills in Survival mode - I'm so proud of myself. :D
I'm in for Knock-knock and Gomo, thank you!

I have played a lot of games over the years, and two in particular stand out. Why? Because the experience is so intensely emotional. The writing is amazing, and more than anything else, I love a good story. Those two games would be Cognition Season 1 and The Walking Dead Season 1. I'm now on my third play-through of TWD, and I still get nervous or uncomfortable, teary-eyed, laugh, and just thoroughly enjoy it!

K_1269: *snip* The Walking Dead. Wasn't really expecting all that much and usually don't like games with those mechanics, but the story and characters just really draw me in. I even shed some tears before the game was over, something that never happened to me before when playing a game.
Yes! Another Walking Dead fan! Incredible storytelling, isn't it? ♥ I can't wait 'til I can get Season 2!

Yes, the Walking Dead experience is not to be missed. Definitely one that deserves multiple play-throughs!
Thanks for hosting this giveaway, foxworks !

I'm in for the 3 $5.99 games as well (as Tesla Effect won't likely run on my pc, plus I'm not interested in the series either- it is indicative that when they were on sale, I didn't buy any of them- but well that's just my opinion, and as it isn't very wise to look at a to-be-gifted-in-a-giveaway-thread horse in the mouth, I'll mention that this offering is very generous of you !)

Now for the memorable gaming experience. A game I totally recall playing in nostalgia is "Prisoner of war"(see here) - it is a little known game, but very good and enjoyable- the protagonist is an English pilot that is arrested by the Germans and becomes a prisoner of war. The goal in each level is to escape the POW camp where he is being held-unlucky guy, gets recaptured the whole time-well not really, the game has, as I found out only like six levels( i got somehow stuck in the third), and the one uses the same setting with another (Colditz castle). But, as in most cases, quantity isn't indicative of quality. The first level is very hard to beat, but once I got past that (feeling a sense of achievement, by the way) the settings were now configurable regarding the difficulty- and I changed the difficulty, to very easy- that is the German guards become almost blind (that is they don't spot the pc even if he is very close to them) ! It also has a very difficult setting on the other end, but I didn't try that one. The funny thing is that the size of the guards can be changed (yes, that is correct, indeed I just mentioned size)-that is the guards can have normal size, be short as dwarves or tall as giants ! That was funny. I also liked the variety of methods employed for escape- jumping over the wire, dressing as a German soldier, digging an underground tunnel e.t.c.

Well, I could go on for a while more, but anyways...you'd get bored by my ramblings. So that's it from me :-) !
Thanks for the giveaway, count me in for cmdr_flashheart.

One of my most memorable gaming experiences is of course Jetpack. At some times it's painfully hard, but overall it has been a unique, enjoyable experience for me. And the level editor just makes it a complete pack of awesomeness, and I had tons of fun with it. Easily the most fun I've had with a platform game, period.
I'm in for Tesla Effect!

One of my most memorable gaming experiences was first experiencing the intro to Homeworld! The music and atmosphere was perfect!
Thank you! I'm in for the Tesla Effect as it's the only game from the series I'm missing :D.
It's hard to decide on a single experience... I've played so many games during the years. But when I was in high school my parents had to hide my keyboard and mouse because of Civilization II. I simply couldn't stop playing... Thus I pick this moment :D

I certainly played the hell out of Civ 1 during my high school years. Good memories!

Please count me in foxworks, and thanks for the giveaway.

I am in for Tesla Effect.

As an adventure gamer I was told that Outcast was a classic. I usually play point and click adventures but I must say it is a nice change. I like the story and am looking forward to seeing how it ends.

Tesla me up, dude! :)

I have the fondest memories of me and a friend borrowing alternately Gabriel Knight 1 from another friend so that we could try and beat it. We spent months at a particular puzzle (the write stuff up with brick on a wall - we knew the right message, we just couldn't figure out the proper wording) until someday he decided to find a walkthrough on the internet.

Oh well, it was awesome fun while it lasted.
Thanks Foxworks!

Count me in for the other GOG games, can I decide later?

Memorable game experience: In Fallout New Vegas, the player typically sides with either the NCR or Caesar's Legion, and whichever side you don't ally with ends up sending assassins to kill you. In one of my playthroughs I accidentally pissed off both factions. Once, when I fast traveled to a hub location, both death squads spawned and I was like, oh hell no, and started sprinting away. But somehow they weren't following me, so I looked back, and it turns out they were shooting each other instead. I turned around and killed the last remaining assassin and looted them all.
