Mostly? Because I didn't see the others. And a quick search of the forums doesn't show this as all that common a thing to do in the main forum. I see a lot of playthroughs like what you wrote, but they're usually in game-specific sub forums.

To get a more targeted audience. We have game-specific forums for that reason. Mainly because I'd rather not have people starting the bad habit of posting game-specific threads in the general forums. The same reason why when someone posts "Hey I am having a problem running (GAME X THAT GOG SELLS), I generally hop in and say, "Hey, ask that question in the relevant sub-forum."

It's a matter of encouraging people to route their posts to the appropriate location. ;) No, I'm pretty sure if you wander into a playthrough thread and then shout "Hey! Spoilers!" you pretty much deserve what you get. If you're gonna make a habit of doing playthroughs of games GOG.com doesn't sell? I'd say the best option is to make one thread "GameRager's Shack of Playthroughs" and update that one.
