Catshade: It's "uh oh" for gamestop, if the rumor is true that next-gen consoles have anti-used-games protection in place.
"Uh Oh" for the consoles as well - Not many are going to pay a lot for a system that they can only manage to acquire five games for during it's life span because they missed a lot upon release.

DCT: Well Mickey D's is still doing well Gamestop is withering and dying on the vine, seriously do some research and you will see that Gamestop is hurting and hurting bad, plus I'm sure that giant Lawsuit they had didn't help.

1995 to 2005 was a pretty good decade for gaming - A lot of variety.
I've ditched all my consoles and handhelds and ran screaming to the PC where gaming is still decent - I've just had to let go of the materialistic "Collector" aspect of gaming.
