This game should be released for sure... but yet Arkane are working on Dishonored...

Dishonored is where it's at. If they had to put The Crossing on hold to get Dishonored done then I think it's going to prove to be the case that they did the right thing there.

Good riddance, I'm curious WTF they were thinking forcing multiplayer combat in the Singleplayer campaign. If people want to death match it seems to me they would play multiplayer.

Put on hold in 2009. Arkane acquired by Zenimax in 2010. Given The Crossing was also being made with Valve, perhaps some sort of issue arose after the acquisition.

Not into multiplayer at all, so happy about the switch.

I'm really looking forward to Dishonoured, it looks great and the gameplay seems pretty varied.
