The one we currently have ('opened' crown) is a vassal's crown.
King's crown is 'closed', like this one

(actually the crown was already 'opened' in times of Otton III and his early dreams of EU :))

Well, I was referring to the fact that we have an opened crown now and for some people having a vassal's crown while in the EU may be a cause for concern, no? Besides, the closed one looks better :P

Novotnus: Don't mistake me for an EU fan - yes, I think the crown should be closed for both symbolic and aesthetic reasons :)
Well, I haven't lived in the EU long enough to talk about it much, just kind of noticed a particular errr opinion or opinions about it :)
