i recently bought the withcher 2 and started downloading it, the initial download went smoothly but then i got to the patches =/ and have been downloading them for the past 18 and a half hours, can anyone tell me if there is a problem with my game and when it will be done downloading if there isnt a problem?

The patches download fast for me, they're not that large.

no, after i downloaded the game i ran it as administrator and now it keeps downloading a 112 mb patch and a 11,000 kb patch should i just get the patches from the site?

Yeah, ignore the auto-patcher and just get 1.2 and 1.3 on the official site.

I think 1.2 replaces 1.1.

... is the package a technical mess like with the original?

So, sometime after patching 1.3, that launcher at times says that connection lost. Didn't even know before what that lightning-sign meant in upper corner. I downloaded patches in witcher-site. except the 1.1. I got it from here. I didn't notice any autopatching starting ever. Well, that's not much of a problem. Few bugs still exists (playing with a controller) but I love the game. Played the first one. Doesn't seem to be any (at least much) worse. Still, big shoes to fill with this one.
