spinefarm: TW2 don't have the same amount of advertisement made... they don't build a big hype for it so yes they sell better then highly advertised games like Darkness 2 ....Street Fighter X Tekken...
avatar
lukaszthegreat: okay...
but that does not mean the sales are great.
you also forgot that those games also on ps3.
I don't say that they are great... but yet they are not bad.. We can say how the sale goes at least when 1 quarter is gone from the start :)
I wonder if Barack Obama has played his PC copy of The Witcher 2 that he got as a present from our prime minister?

presidents dont really use gifts they are given. it is mere symbolisms. i know food is immediately destroyed but books, movies or in this case games? might be auctioned or given away. or simply sit somewhere in a box in the middle of Warehouse 13

I can understand the food part, but why won't they use the gifts? O.o

i am just guessing but...
not to offend anyone maybe?
if a president gets two gifts from 2 different presidents/kings etc and uses only one while another goes into a cupboard won't that be an affront?
Plus: obama didn't get the present. President of the USA did. It belongs to the President not to the person who is currently doing the job.

Remember back in 90s Walesa got some presents (i think some clothes and expensive watches) and he gave away them to his family. That was a small scandal if i remember correctly.

they might keep them tough. little extra info

I am not surprised. But it's not that bad.

Honestly I think the market is stagnant waiting on new hardware. Only the biggest games are selling because no one's really excited about this generation anymore. People act like graphics don't matter, but it takes new tech and new visuals to get the mainstream market excited... or a new toy like the Wiimote.

Something new, anyway.

The console generation is quite old so no big suprise ... If you compare BF3 on PC and Consoles... the diff is quite enormous...
I know I kinda sound like a dick for saying this but I kinda glad it did not sell that much on consoles n this sense: If the game sold 5-10 million copies then there would be huge controversy regarding the games content (such as the full-frontal nude woman where you can see their pubes, and the obscene amount of racism against elves) if it became too popular Fox News will bitching about this game and the public will be complain about it for the sake of the children then the government will responed with censorship bills and the gaming community has to stand up and defened it again. I say this because excluding Valve and Blizzard, PC only games never get that much publicity as much as console games imo.

...and now I wait for someone to reply to tell me that I'm wrong :/

The only thing I remember FOX did against gaming was with Mass Effect 1?
