How the heck could I have forgotton Daikatana? - Must have repressed the memory for a bit there
I DID have to use a level skip cheat to get past a hard lock-up everytime this wizard went and ran up a tree though
But on the plus side I also used the GameFAQ sheet to find all the secrets and Dope FIsh (Well to begin with - I may have just pushed for the end after the level skip fiasco)

Great game imo.....people who couldn't get past the difficulties enough to enjoy it are all wusses.

Personally I think it's pretty hard to make a truely BAD FPS Daikatana is just another shooter that blurs with Serious Sam, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Kingpin etc in my mind, looking back.
It would have been given 65-80% in the mags and forgotton about if Carmacks name wasn't on it, I wouldn't say it was GREAT but playable none the less
I coped OK with the companions though...

Most times I left them in one open area, finished a section, saved, then led them ahead and made them wait again.
Kane and Lynch 2...
Army of Two: 40th Day...

can't decide..
Spectral Force Genesis, if you count just playing one country as finishing it. (I don't think there's anyone insane enough to finish the game 100%)

Except that I also got the bad ending, since if you persuade any enemy country to surrender to you at any point in time you're pretty much locked into getting the bad ending because it makes it impossible to fulfill the winning conditions except for the tiny chance that the country rebels against you under a new leader.
Terminator; Salvation. Ugh.
Red Faction - started out an average FPS with the geomod being little more than a gimmick and degenerated into the corridor-est of corridor shooters with hawk-eyed one shot one kill enemies around every corner. Dam that game sucked. But for some reason I stuck with it until the end. Sheer bloody minded determination to not let the fucker get the better of me. I certainly can't say I enjoyed it.
Crusty Demons for the xbox.
Clash of the Titans (the movie game from last year).

I received it for review. It failed.

You mean Romero's name?

I guess DNF for me. But I've beaten a fuck load of games. Including Blood II, Gore: Ultimate Soldier, Daikatana, you know, stuff like that.
Call of Duty: Black Ops. 87% on metacritic.

Same here. It was thoroughly terrible in every single imaginable way.

Not much else springs to mind. I have played a few bad games (in the low MetaScore sense) but I don't think I have ever finished them. Many "good" games have turned out to be crap, though, but this isn't the topic for that.
Probably Flower, Sun and Rain on the DS. It has a 54 on metacritic.

It did have terrible gameplay, but I enjoyed its weird sense of humor and the story.

Fever_Discordia: What's the lowest critically rated game you've played all the way until the end?
I think mine's either Kingpin or Shogo, which are both OK-ish
How many of you have slogged all the way through some absolute stinkers though?
Sadists!
Far Cry 2 - absolute crap, once again, Ubisoft.
