-Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 (with a Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer strapped on top)
-2*1 GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2
-Galaxy GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB (non-reference model)
-Auzentech X-Fi Prelude
-Western Digital WD5000AAKS
-LITE-ON LH-20A1L
-Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P (Revision 2.0)
-Rosewill R6AR6-BK (Don't let the brand dissuade you-it's a surprisingly good case for the money, though it could use a little more airflow.)
-Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 OEM
-old shadow-mask CRT that still works after all these years
-craptastic 5.1 speakers that need to be replaced to do my sound card justice
-IBM Model M 1391401
-Logitech G5 (2005 model, really needs that extra thumb button)
-Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar + FCC stick mod (Unfortunately, someone broke the stick portion, and thus it needs repair. I just hope the FCC's intact.)
-Thrustmaster RCS + Hall sensor kit
-NaturalPoint TrackIR 4 Pro (Nothing raises immersion and situational awareness in a compatible game quite like one of these.)
Not the best system in the world by a long shot, but it's much better than the old AMD Athlon XP 1800+ system I had to play games on-that is, unless I'm playing older games that act up on the newer hardware (for instance, Crimson Skies has garbled text due to an old NVIDIA driver flaw that they won't fix, Rocket Jockey has control lag likely due to the new CPU, and many other games have some issues with Vista). Maybe some of those issues could be alleviated if I could figure out how to set up Windows 98 and 2000 virtual machines on this thing.
I also have older hardware for older games, but I need to assemble it all at the moment. Some of it includes an Abit BP6 with dual Celeron 533s and 768 MB of PC-133 SDRAM, an ATI AIW Radeon 8500 128 MB, a STB Voodoo 2 12 MB, a Creative SB AWE64 Gold, and other old things that would work better with the classics.
Was was tempted to say:
"Entire box: 1337" and leave it at that... But no one would believe me.
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo - E8500 - 3.16ghz
Ram - 2gb Hynix
GPU - Geforce 8800 GT 512
OS - WinXP Home SP3
Mouse - G5
Keyboard - g15 (orange version)
I know. Hardly "1337"... Why do you think I wanted to do that?
Can't remember (or know) the rest... But I could find out if anyone really cares :p
