Hello i downloaded all the parts
.RAR and when i launch the patch it asks for a .BIN file. which i can't see to find.
so can someone show me a tutorial,
from the first step of downloading .RAR files?

You have:
- installed the seven (numbered) install files?
- installed patch 1.02?
- installed patch 1.05?
- installed the "goodies" (DLC 1-8)?

and: you have done this in exactly this order?

Why - if the patch can not find the .bin file (supposed to be inside the installation on drive ??), it seems that you have not done things in exact the above order, meaning: your game is not yet installed or installed incorrectly.

Good luck!

PS: the list above is how it works with the GOG account and without using Galaxy!

Thank you for the quick reply, i have only downloaded to the 7 game parts which come in .RAR format, but nothing from the goodies,

The game does not come with .rar files. It comes with six .bin and one .exe setup file plus one release patch which is also an .exe file.

You know what usually comes as .rar files though? Pirated copies.

Anyway if you bought the game and yet still have issues with the installation download the galaxy client and install TW3 through it. Galaxy will automate the installation and keep the game up-to-date. If it's still not working check out the support site. You can also contact the customer service. They are usually very nice but it might take a while until they reply.

No,you unzip them with (winrar,7zip,or what ever freeware you can find).

Yes, change the extension on those files from .RAR to . BIN and once that's done double click the "setup_the_witcher_wild_hunt.exe" file to install the game. Patches are installed, in order, after you've installed the base game.

Your browser took it upon itself to rename those .bin's as .rar
