I need to travel from Skellige to Velen for the Ugly Baby quest but everytime that recap scene comes up the game crashes after the first sentence. Tried fast travelling to various locations, tried boat fast travel, tried removing dlc, nothing works... 80+ hours invested in the game and now its unplayable :´(

Try temporarily reducing your quality settings, and remove the ubersampling from cut scenes:

Open <install path>\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\visuals.ini

Edit or add the following under [Visuals]:
MovieUbersampling=false
